Sometimes…easy, familiar recipes are forgotten, or passed over, in favour of ones that, perhaps, use more exotic ingredients or just sound more exciting.
This is one of those recipes.
I first tasted this spread at a party over 25 years ago, and promptly asked for the recipe. I was told “ham, cheddar and cream cheese, garlic to your liking, easy peasy”.
You know something…it really is that simple.
I measured it all out for you, for the purpose of this post, but the truth is that you can just use what you have, a little more of one thing, or a little less of another, isn’t going to change things much. The end result is the same, a creamy and delicious spread.
It makes for an excellent appetizer that is quick and easy to prepare, and that everyone enjoys.
