Cocktail time…The Greek Doctor

Greek Doctor Cocktail-Spreading Good Tastes

It’s a Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada…that means a lot of cottage getaways, picnics and backyard barbeques.

And that means a lot of entertaining!

Here’s a great idea for a simple but delicious drink you can serve your guests, as an aperitif or as an after dinner treat.

This easy to make cocktail is cool and refreshing and full of flavour…careful though, it’s strong!

Ouzo is the star ingredient here. It’s a greek spirit that is anise flavoured and it can be enjoyed on its own, straight up, or on the rocks, or diluted with water.

But it is also quite delicious in cocktails and this one is my favourite.

It’s a recipe I had written out a long time ago so I’m not sure of the origin unfortunately.

Have a great weekend everyone!
