If there’s a tea latte heaven, I was surely in it today!
Walking by a David’s Tea shop, I was offered a sampling…a delightful little glass of pink hued tea topped with thick, frothy milk. ..and it was absolutely delicious!
Turns out, it was made with my one of my favourite teas, called Forever Nuts.
This fruit and nut tea blend is delicious served hot or cold, and the staff tells me it’s one of their most popular varieties, which doesn’t surprise me at all, because it is indeed that good.
Are you familiar with David’s Tea?
I discovered them a couple of years ago, and now I am a big fan. They offer a fantastic selection of tea blends, and an everchanging selection of cups, travel mugs, and lots of other interesting things for tea lovers.
It is excellent place to gift shop by the way…especially for yourself…if you know what I mean…I find it hard to go in there without buying something, that’s the only down side of the place.
Here is a link to their website, where you can find out all about David’s Tea and order online as well. Or better yet, go into the store if you have one nearby. I have found the staff to be very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Getting back to that sampling…it left me dreaming of a full cup for the rest of the day, and I couldn’t wait to get home and try to make it myself.
Here is my version, which I think tastes spot on!
You can sweeten it as you wish, using sugar, honey, maple syrup or a sugar substitute. I personally don’t think it needs much as the tea already has a lovely sweet flavour to it.
Give this a try if you get the chance, it is so good!
