Hot days like today call for a breakfast drink that is light and fresh and feels like summer…
This smoothie is it!
Sunshine in a glass!
Fresh tasting, thick, creamy with a great burst of fruity flavour this healthy smoothie is also deliciously refreshing.
Yet still filling enough to serve as a breakfast meal.
LEMON MANGO SMOOTHIE
*makes 1 smoothie
4 tbsp vanilla greek yogurt
1 tsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tsp ground flax (or ground chia)
1/2 tsp grated lemon zest
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 frozen banana
4-5 chunks frozen mango
1/2 cup skim milk
Add first 6 ingredients to blender and give it a quick whirl to combine (or stir together with a spoon).
Add remaining ingredients to blender and process for about a minute until smooth and creamy.
Pour into your favourite glass and enjoy.
